Metal outdoor furniture

Fermob furniture is either made entirely of metal or combined with other materials, such as tear-resistant technical outdoor textiles (PVC-coated polyester / welded yarns). As a steel specialist, Fermob also makes furniture ranges in aluminium. Whether steel or aluminium, the metal is always of high quality. Fermob draws on innovations developed by the automotive industry so that its furniture can be used in all weathers. The furniture is also protected against corrosion using an exclusive Fermob process in a coating plant that is among the most efficient in Europe.

Fermob produces sustainably and with respect for the environment

Sustainable development and respect for the environment form the foundation of the company culture. For Fermob, it is only natural to incorporate these principles into its manufacturing processes, especially as its furniture is designed to stand outdoors and decorate and beautify terraces.

• Since September 2007, offcuts of the outdoor fabrics (Toile Technique d'Extérieur – TTE) used for the seats and backrests of some Fermob collections, which are very comfortable and easy to care for, have been recycled using the exclusive, patented Texyloop recycling system.
• For many years, Fermob has sorted its waste at its headquarters and production site. According to the company, Fermob was the first company in the furniture industry to sign the VARAPE** agreement.
• Fermob invested in an emission-free painting plant many years ago, which today uses only solvent-free paints.
• For decades, Fermob's product developers and designers have attached great importance to respecting the principles of sustainable development, in particular by striving for lightness and optimising raw materials and packaging.
