Good design for climate protection
Tala was founded in 2015 by friends at the University of Edinburgh in the UK, based on the premise that good design can help curb climate change. From their studios in London and New York in the USA, they explore the tension between sustainability, technology and design through lighting. From functional to decorative lighting, their LED bulbs and matching lights illuminate homes, offices, design studios, shops, cafés, restaurants and hotels.
90% less energy than a conventional light bulb
The Tala team believes that beautiful objects and efficient technology belong together. Its in-house research and development team and technical lab combine the best of British design with high-quality components to extend the life of every bulb as far as possible. On average, a Tala bulb uses 90% less energy than a conventional incandescent bulb and doesn't need replacing for 10 to 15 years.
Tala and the environment
Planting trees can reduce carbon emissions. That's why Tala supports reforestation programmes around the world. By choosing Tala lights, you help restore a healthy planet for future generations.
