2-Seater Teak Lounge Sofa
In 1959, Danish architect and designer Bodil Kjaer launched her indoor-outdoor series, which includes the extremely comfortable BK12 lounge sofa. Crafted from solid teak, this bench by Carl Hansen —featuring armrests and a backrest—impresses with its clean, geometric lines, which draw inspiration from 1950s architecture. The sofa is suitable for both indoor and outdoor use and looks great on a balcony or patio. The sofa also serves as an eye-catcher in the entryway. “Indoor-Outdoor was designed for American Modernist buildings and for weather conditions very similar to those in Denmark. At the same time, the designs combine the best of Scandinavian and international design traditions. The furniture has a clearly recognizable identity and an obvious simplicity. It is based on high-quality materials and the finest craftsmanship.
