DCW éditions Lampe Gras No. 204 L40 Wall Sconce – Industrial design with a long arm at the head of the bed

The Lampe Gras N°204 L40 from DCW éditions is a wall sconce with a distinct industrial character. Its extended arm was specifically designed for use at the head of the bed. Thus, the light combines functionality with the clean lines of a design classic.

A Classic with a History

Bernard-Albin Gras designed the Lampe Gras as early as 1921 for industrial environments and engineering offices. Its ergonomics and simple construction—without screws or welded seams—make it a model of durable design to this day. Le Corbusier also appreciated the lamps for their user-friendliness.

Greater Reach by the Bed

The extended arm—compared to the standard model—increases the lamp’s range of motion. This allows the light to be directed precisely where it’s needed. The wall lamp blends unobtrusively into the bedroom.

With or without a switch

The Lampe Gras N°204 L40 is available with or without a switch. The version with a switch allows for direct control at the fixture itself, making it ideal for comfortable everyday use.

Designed for indoor use

The wall sconce is intended for indoor use, such as in the bedroom, living area, or home office. It bears the CE mark and remains a reliable light source even with daily use.

DCW éditions’ Design Philosophy

DCW éditions values timeless objects that are not subject to passing trends. The Lampe Gras N°204 L40 embodies this philosophy: well-thought-out, functional, and featuring a design language that has been appealing for decades.
