Lyngby Tura Vase

Porcelain Vase in the Iconic Riffel Design

The “ Tura ” vase by Lyngby Porcelæn is an elegant vase in a classic, chalk-white design from Denmark. With its textured ridges and organic form, it is a timeless design piece that blends seamlessly into absolutely any setting while retaining its own personality and enhancing any interior décor.
It looks stunning whether used as a flower vase or as a standalone decorative piece. It was created by Danish designer Philip Bro Ludvigsen, whose design draws inspiration from curved, organically feminine forms.

Classic Danish porcelain craftsmanship

The ribbed Lyngby design became an absolute design icon in the 1930s and is still highly prized today by design enthusiasts and collectors for its understated elegance. Along with other designs, the porcelain vase marked the beginning of a new era in design, inspired by the Bauhaus movement and shaped by the functionalism that was emerging at the time. In 2012, the brand Lyngby Porcelæn was relaunched, and production of the popular Lyngby vase resumed after Lyngby was forced to close its doors in 1969. With the utmost care and respect for its unique history, the vases are now handcrafted in Denmark according to the original specifications.
