Block Side Table

& amp; Side Table

Its function is immediately apparent, and its design is sophisticated. Block is a mobile side table with a light and airy look, as well as a versatile piece of furniture suitable for a wide variety of purposes. It draws inspiration from the well-known tray. The table is rectangular or round and can be easily moved using the handles—which are extensions of the table legs. Block has no front or back and is therefore accessible from all four sides. This makes Block suitable for numerous applications. For example, as a side table, coffee table, tea cart, or nightstand. Simon Legald explains: “For me, design is a interplay between craftsmanship and industry. Both must come together to form a higher unity. With the ‘ Block ’ side table, I’ve simultaneously simplified and updated the well-known tray. The result is a side table on wheels that can be used as an alternative to a coffee table.”

Storage surface on wheels

The “ Block ”side cart by Normann Copenhagen comes with four wheels, allowing the cart to be moved as needed. However, since the wheels do not swivel, the “ Block ” cart is only partially suitable for regular serving and moving back and forth; rather, it is better suited for flexible use in the living room and bedroom, where it can serve as a side table, coffee table, or nightstand.
