Pine Wood Ceiling Light – Scandinavian Design with the 1005 Hans Ceiling Light from Vaarnii
Clean lines and warm, natural light define the 1005 Hans ceiling light from Vaarnii . The design traces back to Swedish designer Hans-Agne Jakobsson, who developed his signature pine veneer lamps as early as the 1960s. Vaarnii reinterprets this design classic as a modern ceiling lamp, highlighting the natural beauty of Finnish pine.
The Vaarnii 1005 Hans Ceiling Light is made of thin pine veneer arranged in concentric circles. The light is gently filtered through the fine layers of wood, creating a warm, pleasant glow. The natural grain makes each fixture unique, while the pine wood develops over time from a light tone to a warm, honey-colored patina. The Hans ceiling light is manufactured in Finland.
The 1005 Hans ceiling light from Vaarnii is available in two sizes, with diameters of 42 cm and 55 cm, respectively. The more compact version is 21 cm high, while the larger one measures 27 cm in height. This makes the ceiling light suitable for hallways and corridors as well as living areas and more spacious rooms. As part of the Hans collection from Vaarnii , it combines Scandinavian design history with natural materials and contemporary Finnish craftsmanship.
