The light of a Akari shines like the light of the sun filtered through a shoji paper. The magic of the paper transforms the cool electricity back into the eternal light of the sun. So that its warmth can continue to fill our rooms at night So the designer Isamu Noguchi. As part of the Akari light sculpture series from Vitra , Model A impresses with its familiar lightness made of shoji paper, which is handmade in Japan. The term Akari , chosen by designer Noguchi, means brightness, light but also lightness.High-quality pendant light made from natural paper
The paper pendant light from Vitra exudes a natural charm thanks to the natural material of the shade and can be equipped and combined with different light sources so that the quality of light, brightness and temperature can be individually determined. Depending on whether you want to place the light in the bedroom, above the dining table or elsewhere in the living area.
