DCW Respiro LED Pendant Light: As Light as a Breath

The Respiro by DCW éditions is an LED pendant light that hovers over your table like an open book. Its warm, glare-free light creates a calm, inviting atmosphere where you’ll want to linger.

A Name That Breathes

The name comes from Italian and means “to breathe.” This idea is reflected in the open, fan-like shape that distributes light and air alike. The light is the first collaboration between DCW éditions and French designer Philippe Nigro.

Designed by Philippe Nigro

Philippe Nigro was born in Nice and studied product design and applied arts in Paris. After years working with Michele De Lucchi, he founded his own studio.

Warm, Glare-Free Light

The integrated LED emits warm light at approximately 2,700 Kelvin. The light output is pleasant and glare-free, allowing you to see comfortably at the dining table, in the kitchen, or at your workspace. With a compatible dimmer, the brightness can be finely adjusted.

Hovering Above the Table and Desk

The light hangs from thin cables, and the housing for the electronics is compact. This puts the light in the spotlight. The Respiro is ideal above the dining table, the kitchen island, or a workspace where you enjoy reading.
