DCW éditions - Seagull LED Pendant Light

Seagull LED Pendant Light by DCW Éditions

Seagull by DCW Éditions is a pendant light that blends discreetly into the room while still making a statement of its own. It was designed by Thierry Dreyfus, an artist known for his light installations. The shape evokes the light, elegant movement of a seagull’s wing.

Soft light without an obtrusive source

Transparent rods distribute the light evenly, so that the light source itself barely comes to the forefront. This principle draws on an idea that Frank Lloyd Wright had already tested on the facade of the Johnson Wax Building: light spreads without revealing its source. This creates a pleasant, warm atmosphere above the dining table or in the living room.

Art Deco elegance reinterpreted

The lamp draws on the timeless elegance of Art Deco and translates it into a modern, clean design language. Dreyfus wanted to design it exactly as he would like to experience it in his own home. The combination of architecture and light art makes the Seagull an eye-catcher that is striking even when turned off.

Conveniently dimmable and meticulously crafted

The integrated LED technology and dimmable controls allow you to adjust the light to suit the time of day and your mood. The craftsmanship is designed for durability. Intended for indoor use, this pendant light is perfect for living rooms, dining rooms, or hallways.
