Timeless pendant light with Japanese lightness
The Akari E pendant light from Vitra combines traditional Japanese craftsmanship with the poetic design language of Isamu Noguchi. Made from fine shoji paper and a filigree bamboo structure, the luminaire creates a soft, atmospheric light and lends the room a calm, harmonious effect. The organic shape of the pendant light creates a light, almost floating presence in the room. The softly diffused light creates a warm atmosphere that makes living, dining or sleeping areas look particularly inviting. At the same time, the light acts as a sculptural design object with timeless aesthetics. The Akari E pendant light is part of the iconic Akari light sculptures by Isamu Noguchi and combines functionality with traditional craftsmanship and modern design.- Handmade pendant light made from shoji paper and bamboo
